Quan Zhou Wu
(Algeciras, 1989). Author, illustrator, speaker, podcaster, and graphic novelist. Studied in Madrid and graduated in England. In 2015, she debuted with Sweet and Sour Gazpacho: A Chinese-Andalusian Autobiography. She has written and illustrated for Píkara Magazine and El País, and currently writes articles and publishes cartoons in Eldiario.es and Vogue. She has collaborated with the Madrid Police Diversity Brigade on a research project about the Chinese community settled in Madrid. She is the hostess of the podcast Movidas Varias, distributed by Eldiario.es, where everything is welcome, as long as it is a voice from a minority. Quan Zhou also gives international lectures on racism and identity, and so far, she has been to Spain, the United States, Sweden, China, and Taiwan. Her Instagram is @gazpachoagridulce.
