Rodolfo Hinostroza
Rodolfo Hinostroza (1941-2016) was a distinguished Peruvian poet, storyteller, playwright, translator, journalist, astrologer, and gastronome. Considered one of the most important Hispanic-American poets of the 60s generation, his work is characterized by its virtuosity and innovative strength, ranking alongside poets like Vallejo, Martín Adán, and Eielson.

Among his most notable works are "Consejero del Lobo" (1965), "Contranatura" (1971), and "Poemas Reunidos" (1986). In 1971, he won the top award at the international poetry contest "Maldoror", organized by Barral publishers in Spain. In 1987, he won first place in the international short story prize "Juan Rulfo", awarded in Paris by the International French Radio with the story "El Benefactor". In 2009, he received the Guggenheim Fellowship, and in 2013, the National Culture Award, Career Category.
