Sergei Kourdakov
(Novosibirsk, Soviet Union, 1951 - California, 1973) Sergey Nikolaevich Kurdakov (Сергей Николаевич Кoурдаков). He was a former KGB agent and Navy officer who, since his teenage years, participated in more than 150 raids against underground Christian communities in the regions of the Soviet Union during the 1960s. At the age of 20, he converted to Christianity and wanted to become a preacher. He was found dead under suspicious circumstances (it is believed he was eliminated by the KGB) on January 1, 1973, at just 22 years old.
