Susan Elizabeth Phillips (born in Ohio, 1948) is one of the most recognized contemporary romance novel authors in the United States. Her books have reached the top spots on The New York Times bestseller list and have been translated into numerous languages, captivating readers around the world.
Phillips has been awarded multiple prizes, including the prestigious RITA Award —the most important in North American romance novels— and, on two occasions, the Favorite Book of the Year award given by the Romance Writers of America. Additionally, Romantic Times magazine awarded her the Career Achievement Award in recognition of her career and contribution to the genre. Currently, Susan Elizabeth Phillips lives on the outskirts of Chicago, where she shares her life with her husband and two children.
