Viviana Dávila
Viviana Dávila (Bogotá, 1975) is a philosopher and holds a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from Javeriana University. Her passion for critical thinking and culture has led her to work as a university professor since 2000, and as the director of the Rafael Pombo Foundation from 2008 to 2011. In recent years, she has combined her academic work with her growing interest in creative writing.
During the pandemic, she revisited a long-standing idea that led to a literary project. In this process, she pursued a Master's in Creative Writing at the International University of La Rioja, where she developed her first narrative works. "Hilar tu sombra," her first novel, was awarded the Rafael Chaparro Madiedo Prize.
