Laurel tiene quince anos de edad, ha llevado una vida tranquila en un pueblo muy pequeno. Cuando sus padres deciden trasladarse e inscribirla en una escuela secundaria, tiene problemas para acostumbrarse. Ella tiene una vida que en absoluto no se parece a la de otros ninos. Un signo claro de esto, es una flor que florece como alas en la espalda. Oh, y su amigo David con mentalidad cientifica revela bajo un microscopio que sus celulas son mas de plantas que de animales. Pero necesita un encuentro con Tamani para convencerla de que ella es un hada. Tambien se entera, que dependera de ella salvar su tierra de las malas influencias que estan tratando de quitarsela a ella y a su familia. / Fifteen-year-old Laurel has led a sheltered, homeschooled life in a very small town, so when her parents decide to move and enroll her in high school, she has trouble getting used to her new life. A life, as it turns out, thats not at all like those of other kids. One clear sign is a winglike blossom that blooms on her back. Oh, and her new best friend, the scientifically minded David, reveals under a microscope that her cells are more plant than animal. But it takes an encounter at her old home with the handsome but decidedly different Tamani to convince her that she is a faerie. She also learns its up to her to save her land from the evil influences that are trying to take it away from her and her family. Will Laurel choose solid, steady David, or will she be unable to resist Tamanis lure?

Compré este libro y el segundo usados desde Chile, y estaban en mejores condiciones que los otros dos que ya tenía de esta saga y los había comprado nuevos en una librería de acá. Eran los que me faltaban para completar la serie y acá en Uruguay no los conseguía. Llegaron en una semana, bien empaquetados.
