However, public perception of their occupation, deemed 'low status' by societal standards, often leads to harassment. Despite this, a positive shift in community attitudes has emerged, with most residents expressing gratitude and support for these women. The findings underscore the importance of improving services and creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for these women, ultimately promoting their well-being and empowerment.
