To her, it’s a symbol of travel. When she has her backpack, it means she’s going somewhere—which is so much better than staying still!

Backpacks can be filled with good memories, like family photos, or bad memories, like a beloved stuffed animal accidentally dropped in a puddle. But even on bad days, a backpack is special, and you can always count on it. Backpacks can be called book bags, rucksacks, or knapsacks, and they come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. There’s no wrong way to wear a backpack. It’s its own form of self-expression.
