Synopsis "DISTURBED"

In Bryn Dalar, everyone knows everyone. Or so they think. New to the small Welsh town, Adam soon learns to avoid Simon Haye, a school bully who rules through fear. But when a young girl disappears and the police search the woods and abandoned slate mines, Adam discovers there are worse things to fear. His unlikely friend Elric knows unsettling details about the town's past. At home, Adam's family finds that their converted chapel is no refuge: objects move, memories falter, and time seems to slip. Its ancient stone pulpit is carved with demons, serpents and creatures that may be more than decoration. As rumours of the Gwyllgi resurface, a sinister presence begins to feed on the darkness within Bryn Dalar's people. Something wants to cross into their world. Something may already be here. Some things should never be disturbed. DISTURBED is a standalone adult supernatural horror novel set in the wider world of Luna and the Blood Moons, Grimalkin and the Corn Devils and Jjinnfar's Revenge. No knowledge of those stories is needed. In Bryn Dalar, the monster in the shadows may be less dangerous than the person standing beside you.
