FALLING IN LOVE In Our Seventies. So, What Does That Really Look Like?
James Ike Schaap Ph.d;Gale Elaine Spahr (Author) · James Ike Schaap, Ph.D. Gale Elaine Spahr · Hardcover
Introduction plants the seed for the reader about what he or she can expect from reading our manuscript. This heartfelt, authentic story, featuring 12 chapters (plus an Epilogue), is about two very different individuals. It includes 230 photographs. Yes, a photograph can sometimes capture a moment in time, along with emotions, relationships, and details that are hard to put into words. These numerous snapshots and glimpses are spread throughout the book and always appear at the end of each chapter. That said, it is important for the reader to understand that it is still possible for two (elderly) people to fall and stay in love.
Epilogue under normal circumstances, we would not have included a summary chapter. However, we felt it necessary to provide the reader with an update and some additional information about our love story. This chapter adds some current insight into the meaning of love.
As a précis, we provide the reader with some powerful love quotes, all written by noteworthy people. That said, we share those speech marks (i.e., important passages) with you, the reader.
On one last comment, in chapters 5-12, we provide the reader with a "closing" statement-a brief declaration about the word love.
