Mesozoic Park is an intriguing series of photographs documenting the construction of a (pseudo) prehistoric landscape in Calgary, Canada, in the early 1980s. The black and white images address the illusions that humanity creates for itself in our increasing quest to find substitutes for “the real.”Terry Munro is a photographer based in Calgary, Canada. He has been exhibiting his work since 1973 and has received numerous awards from the Canada Council and Alberta Foundation for the Arts. His work can be found in the San Francisco Art Institute, the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, Ottawa, the National Gallery of Canada, amongst others.
