Kyoko Mizuki is one of the pseudonyms of Keiko Nagita, born on November 28, 1949 in Tokyo, Japan. She is a Japanese writer known for creating the manga/anime Candy Candy (キャンディ・キャンディ).

Other pseudonyms of this great writer include: Ayako Kazuy Akane Kouda. She is also noted as a novelist, composer, and essayist.

On October 28, 2010, author Keiko Nagita published the novel Candy Candy Final Story (in two volumes), in Japanese, by Shodensha inc. It still has no authorized translation, the first volume recounts the story we know and the second is based on letters and texts narrated by Candy herself.
