Do you ever feel that no one is listening? Do your words seem insignificant and that what you have to say is not important enough to be heard or comprehended? That is how I have felt my entire life. Growing up my parents would ask a question and cut me off before I could actually answer. As an adult, I get cut off frequently when I am speaking as though what I have to say is not as important as what the other person has to say. Because of that I chose to listen and search for my way to say what I needed to say. Being cut off is a true pet peeve of mine that is infuriating, but I found that you can't be cut when your words are being read, so... My scream is no longer silent! I have found a way to be heard. I scream silently and write. I share my heart by bleeding it out on paper.
