Synopsis "The Yavpe Squirrel"

This unusual story came to me in the form of an uncommon, singular, and rare man that wanted this story to be told. His claim about being an Honor Graduate with a Doctorate in Small Mammal and Bird Communication; from Doctor Doolittle Universal Communication University; was bewildering and frankly, I have not been able to authenticate his claims. Sometimes it and he seems more mythical than real; they are like a dream and how well they weather deliberate scrutiny; is like 'Beauty, which is in the eye of the beholder'; thus, I do not know; and will not even attempt to say. However, his insistence that only someone like me: With a very diverse work history and a basic familiarity with the Yavapai History, Language and Culture; along with other American Indian Languages and traditions; and with the Biblical depth and common insightful means of writing, would be able to put the ramblings together in a manner that could be read, and hopefully enjoyed and appreciated. After I'd written about ten pages of this, the strange man disappeared; leaving me with a solid memory of his recorded accounts; however, he did say; there is much more to this story; but he would not get into it all now; and that he would show me more after I finished with this one. With that; I hereby present my best effort to organize and translate this strange tale, yarn or legend; as it is: The Story about Moochie: "The Yav e (Yavapai) Squirrel".
