John Mordechai Gottman
John Gottman, born in 1942 in the Dominican Republic, is a renowned American psychologist specialized in the scientific study of couple relationships and divorce prediction. Emeritus Professor at the University of Washington, he is the co-founder of the Gottman Institute along with his wife Julie Schwartz Gottman. He has published more than 40 books on relationships and parenting, among which "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" stands out.
